Who can use our service?
You must be at least 18 years old to use Lifestyle Rx Doctors. Please make sure you give us your legal name and date of birth as our in-network pharmacies are required to verify a photo ID prior to filling the medication and during the delivery. We will not be able to treat you if the information doesn’t match.
How does Lifestyle Rx Doctors help me save time and money?
We save you time and money by making it possible to get great care without having to see an in-person doctor. This means you don't need to spend time on the telephone trying to book an appointment, to travel to and from the doctor's office, or to sit in a waiting room. Some of our services only require a few minutes to fill out a questionnaire. We also work with local pharmacies that’ll deliver your medication on the same day pending on availability and when we receive your prescription!
How is this different from a regular visit?
We provide the same level of professional care as a traditional doctor’s office, but more conveniently, because we’re 100% online.
Are Lifestyle Rx Doctors for everyone?
No. The online nature of our service means that our medical team must be more cautious than traditional in-office visits. For this reason, we unfortunately can't help everyone who wants to use our service.
Our medical team follow strict guidelines to make sure we only write you a prescription when it's safe and appropriate to do so. If it’s not in your best interest, we’ll advise you to see a doctor or nurse practitioner in person.
Will I have a live video with a doctor?
It depends on the service you’re requesting. Some services don’t require a live video visit, some services only require a questionnaire to be filled out!
Is this a safe way to get care?
If the questionnaire provided by our medical staff is completed truthfully, it is safe!
You should also always discuss any other medication or supplements you’re currently taking with our In-network pharmacist to prevent any drug-to-drug interactions. Please contact us if you have any questions!
How can I let my doctor or nurse practitioner know about the care you provide?
If you have a doctor or nurse practitioner you see on an ongoing basis, it's important to tell your doctor or nurse practitioner about all the medicines you're taking, including any medicines we prescribe.
How quickly will you review my request for treatment?
Our online service is available 24hrs a day to review your request. If your request requires a direct interaction with a doctor you’ll be contacted by a doctor by phone or video call, between Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm or Friday-Saturday 9am-3pm. Besides that, one of our in-network pharmacies will review your request within an hour of completing your doctor visit during regular business hours. Our in-network pharmacies are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm.
